In Midland, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Texas, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (432) 555-3322. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is cplrayscoffee.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 80 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Midland is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Midland is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Staff is always lovely and makes great coffee, the morning girls are always friendly and professional. But, I used to go out of my way to visit, but lack of care put into any aspect of the building doesn’t make the trip worth it. The drive thru speaker has been broken for months now, despite employees saying that their boss has ordered a part. Very disappointing considering that drive thrus should provide some sort of convenience. I would recommend this store for the exceptional customer service and creative Barista recommendations, but it’s ultimately not worth the inconveniences. Maybe if there was any care shown to the store, I would reconsider visiting.

First time pulling up and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Many options, but I wanted a caramel iced coffee, DELICIOUS, $5 plus I graciously tipped. New favorite!!!

Inconsistent!! I’ve been going to CPL’s since 2019, but I’ve noticed such a decrease in service and quality in the past two years. I think today was the last straw for me. Everytime I go, I order the regular frozen Ray Ray with almond milk. Which is always a hit or miss if they use almond milk or not. Also, I always get charged a different amount. Anywhere from $5 and some change to $7. I’ve noticed the turnover is crazy at both the Midland and Odessa locations. When the Frozen Ray Ray is made well, it’s one of my favorite coffee drinks around this area. However, it’s just more times than not, not made well. My fiancé and I went two weeks or so to the Odessa location and we both had to dump our drinks out, something was way off. (Which he is the most non picky person around). Anyways, RIP CPL’s.

Lady was rude this morning. I don't visit very often, but she was short with me from ordering through getting my drink. Never got a thank you, and really wasn't sure the transaction was even done. I think this generation needs to learn some basic customer service skills. On the flip side, the drink tasted good so I was pleased. I will be back, and will be curious to see what level of customer service I receive.

This is a really nice new coffee place. Jaime, the manager, as well as the employees are very friendly and would love to show you their establishment. But let’s talk about the product… the coffee is GREAT! The Iced Americano coffee was my joy of the day! This is a small family owned chain whose roots are West Texas. So why would we go to Starbucks when better and friendlier coffee from West Texas is right here? We wouldn’t! By the way- the building is an old bank building… and they have a secret vault they cannot open. Mysterious indeed!
